Hitomi Kanzaki

This was actually an experimental project.

She was originally a kit produced by Kotobukiya back in 97 and she was tiny! a 1/12 scale that was barely 12cm tall. Hitomi is a character that I always liked, not to mention that the series itself was one that marked my late teens and I was always bummed that they never really made any good merch, so this figure was kinda like a consolation prize?

I was contacted by a 3D scanning company called Shinning 3D and they sent me their Einstar Vega 3D scanner, I took that tiny Hitomi and gave her new life by scanning her and scaling her up to 25 cm which is the equivalent of a 1/6 scale kit

While Escaflowne may not be popular today, it was still a series that defined an entire generation.

The 3D model is available to my Patrons for the months of June and July 2025.
