Welcome! My name is Leona and I've been painting model kits since 2006. Professional Garage Kit painter by trade, unprofessional human being by nature. Showcasing my work hoping to leave my little mark on the model painting world, bring inspiration to others and illuminate those in search of knowledge.
Latest builds, paint sessions, tutorials, guides and everything in between
I'm known as Leona and I'm a professional model painter.
I've been painting garage kits (resin models) since 2006. It started as a hobby like many of my arts and crafts projects, but after some years it developed into a passion.
I didn't start painting professionally until 2012 and have been doing so continuously until the end of 2018, when I decided to leave commissions for an indefinite time to concentrate on my growing YouTube channel, where I share and showcase my passion for painting these kits. Bringing them to life is what brings me joy in life.
My YouTube channel was launched in 2012 and it's a video collection of all of my knowledge in model painting, specializing in tutorials and work in progress videos, now known as "Watch me paint" specials.
The topics range over a variety of levels, from beginner to advance, and also provide fun and interesting video specials for those that just like to watch me work but don't necessarily intend to get into the hobby anytime soon, but appreciate the behind the scenes of a figure in production.
I'm completely becoming a full time YouTuber as of 2019. My goal is to try and get more people to discover this hobby — it's such a small niche unlike gunpla and gundams, and I hope to one day help bring it to the spotlight as those other branches of the model painting hobby.
